Greetings! My name is Billy Dim, and I am the creator of Blendtique Wine Company.

Over the past decade, I have worked in and around the Santa Ynez Valley wine industry witnessing its continued explosion, and participating at nearly every level of its expansion.

From production to sales, management to marketing, I have watched Santa Barbara evolve to become an epicenter for wine here on the Central Coast; but with all its positive growth and recognition, from boasting but a few select wineries -to projects now numbering in the thousands, I came to acknowledge a very important aspect somehow continuously being overlooked –the enthusiast’s desire to learn & participate.

Each year, tens of thousands flock to wine country hoping to explore the process and experience the beauty, but no matter how great their experience, participation is inevitably limited. A few short tastings, perhaps a bottle or two from their favorite vintner, and they’re on their way. Somehow, as an enthusiast, it didn’t seem fair; I expected more.

Blendtique Wine Company provides an interactive platform for enthusiasts to engage the industry they love; not simply to taste, but to learn, experiment, and create. The process can be enjoyed from the comfort of home or as part of an event. Our Blending Kits make for excellent gift items, and restaurants, weddings, and businesses now have a fun and cost effective way to create their very own house label with remarkable quality results. We work with a growing network of local and estate vineyards to source some of the best fruit of the Central Coast fruit and all product is processed locally to maintain varietal-true character.
